Transitions is an annual career and networking event organized by the PNWJETAA. It is designed to help alumni of the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) program explore their options and prepare them for whatever next steps they may take. The event will include a keynote and two panels. One panel will be on how to find a job in Japan and the other will feature different career paths JETs have taken in Japan. The event is co-sponsored by the CLAIR New York (Japan Local Government Center) and the Sasakawa Peace Foundation USA (Sasakawa USA).
For the second time, Transitions will be co-hosted by PNWJETAA and USJETAA in a virtual capacity. This year the theme is jobs in Japan and we are featuring information about working in Japan after JET. The event is free and open to JET alumni, as well as non-JETs interested in Japan-related careers.
